Today is the minor Jewish holiday of the New Year of the Tree. It apparently coincides with the blossoming of the Almond trees, which is great. But around here it coincides with the warmest day we've had so far in the year.
So, today I'm a fan of a minor Jewish holiday as it suits my purposes.
Thank you, Wikipedia, for even making me aware that my favourite day of the year so far even had a name.
"I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God." ~Galatians 2:20
